Murano Glass,
my life and my passion

Murano Glass,
my life and my passion

Glasswork created by fire and history

Murano is my island, where I took the first steps in my profession.
I learnt the technique during the years of the apprenticeship, but most importantly I learnt that passion is the true essence of art.

Glass blowing is not simply a job, it is my world.
Every day in the workshop, my ideas are transformed into many different creations thanks to glass, a material with such charm, a material that constantly needs to be dominated in the workshop.

A craft,
an art,
a passion

The first time I entered a glass blowing workshop I had just finished sixth grade.
Working was a necessity in life and learning a trade was important for my future.

Immediately I realised that glass blowing was special. Day after day, the more skills I mastered, the more I discovered. Discovering the sense of proportion and creating harmonies with my work.

Essential qualities when becoming a glass blower.

During my apprenticeship I learnt the most authentic techniques that allowed me to create any type of glass artefact.
With help of my excellent teachers, I have also learnt how to create the most intricate items, those created with exceptionally thin glass.

Today this allows me to satisfy all the needs of those who entrust in my work, offering the best solutions even for the most personalised projects.

Technique and inspiration

Inspiration comes in the moment of creation. It all begins with the first gestures when the glass is moulded with the simplest and purest of forms.

Little by little, the glass takes its shape, beauty allows itself to be guided by fire and the expert hands of the glass blower.  Then the attention to detail will transform each object into a masterpiece.

Listening carefully to the customers needs is the only way to transform your idea into a work of art that exceeds your expectations and gives you a piece of Murano and its history.

This is the challenge I will face everyday for the rest of my life.

Collaborations

There are countless Italian and international companies that turn to me to give their projects substance.

Over the years my company has had the opportunity to collaborate with well known architects and designers from all over the world, creating all kinds of new products.

There are numerous design and luxury branches where I have been recognised for the quality of my work and my attention to detail.

I dedicate my time and resources to chose the best techniques for each stage of the process, carefully studying the colours and shapes until I find the perfect solution.

Each item must raise expectations, only this way can it become true art, reaching perfection.
